Preparation and Aftercare Guide


Before Your Session
Hydrate Well - Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Hydrated muscles respond better to treatment.
Dress Comfortably - Wear loose, comfortable clothing. For massage, undress to your comfort level. For stretch therapy, wear athletic wear.
Arrive Early - Come 10-15 minutes before your appointment to complete paperwork and relax.
Communicate - Share any injuries, health conditions, or areas of concern with your therapist.
Eat Lightly - Avoid heavy meals 2 hours before your session. Light snacks are fine.

After Your Session

Stay Hydrated - Continue drinking water to help flush toxins and prevent soreness. Take It Easy - Avoid intense activities for the rest of the day. Light walking is perfect. Expect Mild Soreness - Some tenderness is normal and typically resolves within 24-48 hours. Use Heat or Cold - Warm Epsom salt baths extend relaxation benefits. For acute injuries, ice may be better—ask your therapist. Schedule Regular Sessions - Most clients see optimal results with visits every 2-4 weeks.
